Hi everyone,
I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you about my personal story and how it brought me to this point.
My name is Max Hudson, born and raised in Chicago. I am a proud bearer of the name, which I share with the legendary musician and songwriter Slash, Saul Hudson. Like many other people, I discovered guitar in my teens and have never looked back since. It has quickly evolved into a passion and has given me a creative outlet, something to redirect my time and unlimited energy toward.
My friends and I would meet after school in futile attempts to start the next big garage band. We would practice for hours on end. As you might be able to tell, we did not have a lot of professional success. However, those years gave me an immense admiration for the art. Being ten plus years out of high school, I can confidently say that pursuing your hobbies is important at any stage of your life. I want to reshape the notion of what typical guitar players look like because it can truly be anyone.
I want this website to be a handbook for players of all skill levels. At the time I started getting into guitar playing, I did not have enough available resources to learn and improve. Some people were fortunate enough to have someone in their family teach them guitar. My only option was to ask around, find people to teach me and once they were fed up with me, find someone else. Using personal connections was the only way to do anything in the pre-internet time. Luckily, our education tools have expanded to such an extent that there are no more excuses not to learn.
Technology development can bring anything to our doorstep so we indeed have to take advantage of the incredible opportunities we can access. In this day and age, if you want to get into music, you can start your journey with just a few clicks. This website can become a starting point for your new hobby, where you can find the right instrument, get tips for playing effortlessly or anything else music related. Even if you do not have a lot of time, you should start somewhere. This website is crafted in a way that even a quick browse will give you valuable information.
